Lions Pancake Breakfast
When you come and enjoy the pancakes, bacon, sausage and Vermont maple syrup the NorShaft Lions will be serving up on Sunday, June 1, 8 to 11:30 a.m., you’ll have a great breakfast and help the Lions support their Sight and Hearing programs. The Lions have restored sight to 7.5 million people through cataract surgeries, helping to prevent serious vision loss for 30 million people and improving eye care for hundreds of millions. Lions also assist those who are deaf or hard of hearing. Proceeds from the Breakfast will go towards these programs right here in our community. The breakfast includes pancakes, bacon, sausage, Vermont Maple Syrup, juice and coffee, tea or milk. The suggested donation is $6 per person. Children under 8 are free. The Breakfast is being held at the Shaftsbury Elementary School on Buck Hill Road in south Shaftsbury, Vt.
