Literary Ball Planned to Benefit Green Mountain Academy
Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning is gearing up for the big event planned for Friday, August 8, when the Literary Ball will be held in Hunter Hall at Maple Street School in Manchester. Appropriate for an educational organization, the theme is literary. Tables will be decked out with different books in mind, from the classics to contemporary. And although not required, guests may come dressed as a favorite author or character from literature. This spirited event to benefit Green Mountain Academy will begin at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails and a fabulous dinner catered by Hub Poelmann, a live auction with Eric Nathan, and dancing with the High Definition Band from Saratoga, N.Y.
