The Round House Bakery Café invites the public to a very special exhibit of the photography of George Forss and Jon Katz, ‘Looking at Our World.’ The exhibition will be featured through Sunday, March 16.

Forss is an internationally acclaimed photographer of iconic black and white New York City images. He has had exhibitions at the Brooklyn Museum, The New York Public Library, and the Musée d’Orange in France, among many other venues. He is planning a retrospective of his more recent New York and Washington County landscapes, including some digital color photographs, among his first.

New York Times bestselling author Jon Katz. Jon has written twenty-one books: eight novels, one collection of short stories, and twelve works of nonfiction—including his most recent best-selling book, ‘Second Chance Dog.’ He has written for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Slate, Rolling Stone, and the AKC Gazette. He has worked for CBS News, The Boston Globe, The Washington Post, and The Philadelphia Inquirer.In recent years, he has focused a great deal of his creative energy on photographing rural life and the life on and of his farm and the community of Cambridge, N.Y. This is Katz’ first formal exhibition of his new passion; he feels incredibly honored to exhibit in collaboration with George Forss.
