MHS is hosting history walks and a free exhibit of winters past for Manchester Merriment.

The Manchester Historical Society (MHS) is hosting a free public exhibit of winters past on Saturday, December 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Timed to coincide with the Chamber of Commerce’s Manchester Merriment, this event will highlight the local ski industry, historic snowstorms and ice cutting. The exhibit will feature lots of photos from the Society’s collection, plus some interesting artifacts and collectibles and a hands-on activity for children. It will be on display in the Hunter Room at the Manchester Community Library on Cemetery Avenue in Manchester Center. MHS will also be providing walking tours at 10 a.m. – of Main Street, starting at the Northshire Bookstore, and of Manchester Village, starting at the Equinox Hotel.
