Maple Hill Cemetery Association
Maple Hill Cemetery Association will hold its Annual Meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, at the Dorset Historical Society, Route 30, Dorset Village. The meeting will receive committee reports and elect seven to serve a one-year term on the Board of Directors. Maple Hill has been serving the Dorset community since 1772, when the infant Benjamin Baldwin, Jr. was the first person to be buried there. The cemetery is in the process of developing a new section across Maple Hill Drive to the south. MHC is striving to make this historic piece of Dorset attractive for all who travel the Stone Byway while actively serving Dorset in the 21st century. Those interested are invited to attend.
