MCL Throws a Party to Celebrate New Dr. Seuss Book

The Manchester Community Library turns into Seussland on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. for a pet-centered program complete with a visit from Olive, the Jack Russell Terrier, back by popular demand. Olive will perform a live demonstration of obedience exercises and pet tricks. Linda from the Second Chance Animal Center will be there, too, with some adorable, adoptable pets. Kids and adults alike will enjoy a reading of Dr. Seuss’s ‘What Pet Should I Get?’ and have a chance to vote for their first choice. Please leave your own pets at home for this event. This is a free family program, open to the public. Children must be accompanied and supervised by adult caregivers. The Library is located at 138 Cemetery Avenue at the corner of Main Street/Route 7A in Manchester Center.
