MCS Board Approves Budget

After two meetings filled with detailed deliberations, the Mettawee School Board unanimously approved the Fiscal Year 2020 (FY20) budget of $5,539,649. This is the warned amount that will be voted on by the public by Australian Ballot on Tuesday, March 5. Prior to the vote, the Board will host a meeting for residents in Pawlet and Rupert at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, at Mettawee Community School to present the spending plan for next year and answer questions. A detailed report on the budget will be mailed to households of registered Pawlet and Rupert
voters prior to the meeting.
