Middletown Springs VFD to Host Breakfast with Santa
On Saturday, November 28, the Middletown Springs Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting their annual Breakfast With Santa. Santa will parade atop a fire truck from South Street to the firehouse in Middletown Springs at 9 a.m. Children will have the opportunity to sit with Santa and tell him what is on their lists this year for Christmas. Children will receive a gift bag and reindeer food to put out on Christmas Eve courtesy of the fire department. Parents will be able to sign their children up to receive a personalized letter in the mail from Santa.
At the Breakfast, members of the fire department will be accepting unwrapped, new toys for children of all ages at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Massachusetts. MSVFD will stuff their fire truck as full as they can and deliver the gifts just in time for the holidays. The MSVFD is hoping to bring a smile to children in our local communities and others who may not be as fortunate to be home for the holidays in the spirit of Christmas. If you would like to donate an unwrapped, new toy or if you have questions, contact Karen Castle at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 802-235-2160. The Pancake Breakfast is fun for all ages; be sure to bring your Christmas list and your camera. Breakfast is $6 per person; kids age six and under are free.
