Mom’s Day Off at Bromley Nets $5000 for Southwestern Vermont Regional Cancer Center

Bromley Mountain Ski Resort president Bill Cairns presented a donation of $5,000 to Thomas Dee, president and CEO of Southwestern Vermont Health Care (SVHC) on April 4, in support of women’s cancer care and treatment at Southwestern Vermont Regional Cancer Center in Bennington, which is part of SVHC. The money was raised during Mom’s Day Off, an annual fundraising event held at Bromley. This year 200 mothers got to ski for the day for just $25; all they had to do was show a photo of their child or children at the resort’s ticket window to get the deal. The entire value of every ticket was then donated to SVHC.
