Mark Vaughan, founding editor and publisher of Santé magazine, has selected wines for the event and will auction off over 35 lots of wines donated from a variety of vintners, as well as weekend getaways, dinners, jewelry, fine art, massages, ski tickets, memberships, gift certificates and more. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased online at pavebennington.org. Call 802-442-2370 for further information.
Giving to PAVE ensures that the Project Against Violent Encounters continues to provide essential services to Bennington County and surrounding areas in response to domestic and sexual violence. Started as a master’s graduate thesis and internship winning a grant to create a hotline, PAVE has grown over the last 35 years to provide services that respond to crises in the moment and work with families to break the cycle of violence. PAVE services include court and social service advocacy, emergency housing, emergency financial support, access to legal services, supervised visitation, parenting classes, community awareness, school- based prevention education and more. All of the proceeds from ‘Moonlight in Vermont’ will support PAVE’s new residential site for individuals and families fleeing domestic violence.
