Morris Raising Money for St. Judes
When she heard a radio spot about Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital on 105.3 Cat Country in 2012, Emma Morris decided to help. Then nine years old, she began her own fundraising campaign, raising $436 for the cause. Last year, she set a goal of $500 for 2014, and exceeded it by an astounding $250, with just a pickled sausage jar, a bake sale and a 50/50 raffle at White’s Fuel Stop on Route 7 in Danby, Vt. For 2015, Emma is hopeful she can meet her new goal of $1000.
Emma wants to thank everyone who helped her raise the money this year. She’d also like to give a big thank you to 105.3 Cat Country and all those wonderful doctors who are helping children and their parents get through these hard times. Emma Morris may live in a small town, but she is making a big difference.
