Mt. Anthony Golf Club to Offer a Day of Complimentary Greens Fees
Mount Anthony Country Club is celebrating a milestoneby offering the public complimentary green fees between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 30. Owners David and Maru Griffin are observing their tenth anniversary as owners, as well as the 119th year of this historic course. Local Vermont golfers are invited to enjoy the beauty of this local gem in the middle of Bennington on this day with free greens fees.
The couple states that the golf course is in the best shape ever. “It seems like yesterday, when in December of 2006 we purchased the Country Club with the mission to make it one of the best golf courses to play in Vermont. After a significant investment in the renovation and agronomic program, we are very pleased with what we have achieved.”
Tee times will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. You must register in advance through the Pro Shop at 802-447-7079 or on the website at mtanthonycc.com. Golf carts are not included.
Mount Anthony Country Club is located at 180 Country Club Drive in Bennington. Golfers are asked to wear proper golf attire; no denim and collared shirts.
