Neil Young Celebration to Take Place at The Colonial

The Berkshire Musicians Tribute to Neil Young concert will take place at The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield on Saturday, January 23, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will feature an eclectic mix of Berkshire Country musicians and special guests, all performing the songs of Neil Young. Performers include Steve Ide, David Grover, Rev Tor, legendary Northampton troubadour Ray Mason, Jack Waldheim, Tom Filliault, Dan Hamilton, Rob Sanzone, Emily Mure, Dana Welts, Jeanne Laurin, Ed Moran and more.

Legendary singer-songwriter Neil Young has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, once as a solo artist and then as a member of the band Buffalo Springfield. Along with Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp, Young was one of the founders of Farm Aid.

The concert is a celebration of Young’s songbook and will feature his great hits as well as a few songs from the Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young catalogs. Tickets are on sale at The Colonial Theatre Box Office, 111 South Street, Pittsfield, Mass. For information, call 413-997-444 or visit berkshiretheatregroup.org.
