Northshire Hockey Announces Youth Hockey Registration

The Northshire Hockey Association will be hosting a registration night for all interested youth hockey players from age four to 14 at Riley Rink in Manchester on Wednesday, September 23, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

NHA has hockey programs to fit all experience levels, from beginner to competitive travel teams. New this year will be a Bantams team for ages 13 and 14 as well as a girls-only travel team for ages 9 to 12. Additionally, NHA will be running a Girls’ Development learn-to-skate/learn-to-play program for girls ages 9 to 12. Practices start the week of October 26 and will run through February 2016. This year, the Atoms program for boys and girls ages 6 and under will cost only $50 for approximately 15 weeks of instruction. Half-season packages are also available. Participants must be independent skaters.

NHA has limited numbers of equipment rental packages available for $30. The packages include all the equipment needed by new players except for a hockey stick and skates. For more information about equipment packages or getting started in playing youth hockey, visit the NHA website at northshirehockey.org or email Veronica VanDerMark at ronnivdm@yahoo.com.
