Participate in Pumpkinpalooza’s Pet Parade
Do you have a dog…or two? Cats that will walk on a leash? A gecko or bearded dragon that likes to show off in public? Will your cockatiel or parrot ride on your shoulder as you saunter down the street? The Pumpkinpalooza Pet Parade is an annual community favorite for kids and adults, and welcomes all kinds of domesticated animals; so if you have a pet that you’d like to show off, enter it in the parade. Your pet can wear a costume, do tricks or just be its own adorable, beautiful or majestic self.
The Pet Parade takes place on Saturday, September 21 at 11. Starting at the Town Tennis Courts, it meanders down Main Street to Wood Park. The judges will award prizes at the end of the event.
In order to participate, you must complete the Pet Parade Participation Form (kids, please have your parent or guardian fill it out) and submit it on or before 10:45 the morning of the event. If you would like more information, please call HAYC3 at 518-686-9050. You can download the entry form online at hayc3.org. Click on Community Events, scroll down to Pumpkinpalooza and then click on Pet Parade Application. The event is free and open to everyone.
