Pawlet Library Book Sale to Offer Thousands of Books
The much-anticipated Pawlet Public Library’s 49th annual Book Sale is this weekend – Saturday, July 30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, July 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days. There are more books than ever, with a special room filled with mystery, and an additional section with religious books donated by Reverend Donald Pepper. PEGTV is planning to film this impressive event, and will interview folks waiting in line. Adriano Manocchia will be offering and signing his beautiful book of fly fishing art, ‘Water*Sky*Time’ on Saturday, from 12 to 2 p.m. A bag sale starts at 12 noon on Sunday. The Book Lover’s Cafe and Bake Sale will keep you from going hungry while you browse our thousands of books, including fiction, nonfiction, history, business, trade/rack fiction, rare books, coffee table books, children’s books, books on cooking, gardening, art, politics, government, biography – there is a vast selection. There will also be a raffle for a terrific patio set donated by Telescope Casual Furniture; tickets, on sale now at the library, are $5 each or three for $10.
