Performing Personal Stories
The Salem Courthouse Community Center is offering a free workshop series led by storytellers and educators Margaret French and Betty Cassidy that will assist folks in telling their own unique story. This creative program has been produced by the Folklife Center at Crandall Public Library ,and has been made possible in part with a grant from the Alfred Z. Solomon Charitable Trust. The workshop series will be held on four Wednesdays from 6 to 8 pm: May 28, June 4, 11 and 18, 2014. All ages are welcome to enroll. Participants agree to attend all four sessions. At the final session Wednesday, June 18, participants will perform their story and receive a recording of all the stories performed. Pre-registration is required by calling 518-854-7053.
