Pressure Canning Workshop
On Sunday, September 11, at Hildene, Jane and Ken Moriarty, who have been doing their own canning for years, will show participants how to make a simple tomato sauce in a workshop on how to begin home pressure canning. Learn about supplies and techniques that make canning fun and easy. After the two-hour basics class, there will be a jar-cooling waiting period for any who wish to stay for a do-it-yourself, guided round two. All participants will go home with a jar of tomato sauce.
