Even though the weather was gloomy, the 9th annual Pumpkin Carving Festival at Equinox Valley Nursery still brought out lots of folks eager to celebrate fall in Vermont and support the Community Food Cupboard!

CFC’s Board of Directors would like to recognize and thank everyone who participated in creating and sponsoring this great event. Generous hosts Roger and Penny Preuss and Jenn Casey did a fantastic job to ensure that there were plenty of activities, pumpkins and cider donuts for everyone, and went above and beyond to make this event a successful fundraiser for the CFC. Our thanks to all of the vendors who participated and to Donnie Dorr for the use of the wagon. We are also incredibly grateful to our dedicated volunteers who braved the rain to help out. Finally, we’d also like to recognize the great work of Berta Maginnis and everyone at the Manchester and the Mountains Chamber of Commerce for all of their help planning and promoting the festival.
