Reducing Crime and Violence in Northern Berkshire

The northern Berkshire community will once again gather together to discuss important issues facing its residents. On Friday, November 8, nbCC’s monthly forum will address crime and violence. Gain a better understanding of the precipitants and prevalence of crime, and walk away with something you can do to help reduce crime; get information about safely disposing of unused and expired prescription medications, a walk away with resources for people we know that use heroin and/or prescription drugs.

Come join us for this important community conversation, beginning with a round of introductions followed by brief announcements of upcoming events or new projects.

Please bring flyers about your events and announcements, as there will be a table available for sharing them. The forum will be held on Friday, November 8, 10 to 12, at the First Baptist Church in North Adams, Mass., in the upstairs chapel; use the Main Street entrance.

The organizers of the Friendship Center Food Pantry at 43 Eagle Street ask friends who attend the nbCC forums to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the pantry. For more information on this forum, please contact Al Bashevkin, at 413-663-7588 or e-mail abashevkin@nbccoalition.org.
