Early online registration is open for the 24th Vermont Race for the Cure, a 10K run, a 5K run/walk, plus a Kids’ Fun Run and Obstacle Course to benefit Susan G. Komen Vermont/New Hampshire. Save $10 when you register at by April 30.

“This will be year two at our new venue, Riley Rink in Manchester,” said Terry Farkas, Komen VT/NH executive director. “A change in venue is not always easy but we’re very happy with our new space and so were last year’s participants. The Vermont Race is a legacy event,” Farkas explained. “It’s really very special to so many survivors and families, folks who participate year in and year out in memory of friends or their moms or sisters. The feedback we got was very positive.”

The Race draws women, men and children from up and down the east coast to run, walk, amble and mingle with friends, family and some of the nicest strangers you’ll ever meet. Add great food, a silent auction and fun activities for kids and you’ve got the makings of a family day to remember. Over 800 walked or ran in last year’s event to raise $133,000.
