He will discuss ‘Buddhism and Healing’ in a free talk open to the public from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 12. The talk will follow a silent auction featuring goods and services donated by community members at 6 p.m. in support of the Tibetan Education Project, which has helped to educate Tibetan children in Chinese and Tibetan, so they can preserve their original culture while engaging in modern society. There will be a free opera performance by acclaimed vocalist Christine Suits, at 7 p.m.
