Robert Frost Stone House Events
The Robert Frost Stone House Museum at 9546/121 Route 7A in Shaftsbury,is now closed for the season, but will be open for the following two events. At a Holiday Open House and Makers’ Market from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 9, visitors can purchase Frost books and merchandise, as well as locally made maple syrup, honey, wood work and pottery; some of the makers will attend, and there will be music, hot cider and a display of Frost’s personal Christmas cards. The suggested donation for entry is $5, which will go towards programming and preservation of the grounds. On Monday, December 10, the Museum will welcome Williams College scholar and professor Neil Roberts at 6 p.m., for a talk on Frederick Douglass in observation of the 200th anniversary of his birth.
