Sage City Symphony Season Ends with Concert and Potluck Dinner

Sage City Symphony will present its final concert of the season at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2014, in Greenwall Auditorium, Bennington College in Bennington, Vt. Conducted by Michael Finckel, the program will feature Allen Shawn’s Cello Concerto with Maxine Neuman as soloist as well as Edward Elgar’s Enigma Variations. The wind and brass sections will open the concert with Giovanni Gabrieli’s Sonata pian e forte for eight players. Following the concert, the public is invited to attend the orchestra’s annual dinner, a delicious potluck provided by Board members and friends. The concert is free and dinner tickets are $20. The Berkshire Bank will sponsor this concert.
