Londonderry Jewelry Sale

Special items have been put aside waiting for the Thrifty Attic holiday jewelry sale on Saturday, December 2. There will be something for someone on your holiday shopping list.This one-day event will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Find the Thrifty Attic on Main Street in Londonderry.

Wells Basket Raffle

The fifth and sixth grade classes at the Wells Village School are staging a Basket Raffle on Saturday, December 2, the Modern Woodman Hall in Wells. Doors open at 11 a.m., with drawing starting at 1 p.m. Your $5 admission includes the first sheet of tickets; additional sheets are $2 each. Food will be available for purchase. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a raffle for prizes which include a wi-fi connected drone, a Telescope Furniture patio set, 50 square feet of slate floor tile with sealer from Camara Slate and $100 in lottery tickets. In Middletown Springs, a Holiday Craft Fair and Free Indeed

The 23 annual Holiday Craft Fair in Middletown Springs will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, at the Middletown Springs Elementary School. The event will feature over 30 vendors of fine arts and crafts, ranging from Peter Huntoon prints, Rising Meadow pottery and Sissy’s Kitchen goodies to Filthy Farmgirl soaps, fine woodwork, handmade candies, maple products, local honey and beeswax products and farm goods. Also on the roster are fabric artists, jewelers, woodland wreaths, cards and collages, knitted goods and clothing accessories – this one-stop shop will enable you to cross off lots from your gift list! Plan to come, and enjoy warming soups and stews, drinks and sweets to benefit the Middletown Springs Memorial Day Parade fund. The school is located off Route 133 South, just below the four corners.

A giant yard sale where everything is free will be held on Saturday, December 2, from 9 a.m.  to 12 p.m. at the Middletown Springs Community Church. There will be plenty of toys, household items, gifts, clothing and more – all for free. For details, call 802-235-2386.

Shushan Christmas Bazaar

Shushan United Methodist Church will host a Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, December 2, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, featuring a breakfast buffet and handmade wreaths with the sale of Teddy bears, foods, and crafts. For more information, call Gayle Shaw at 518-854-3896.

Rutland Christmas Fair

The Rutland County Farmers’ Market Christmas Fair will be held on Friday, December 1, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, December 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the College of Saint Joseph, 71 Clement Road, Rutland. Over 70 crafters will be attending offering sewn, crocheted and knitted items, floral, jams, jellies and more. Lunch will be available.

Rutland Library Book Sale

The Rutland Free Library Book Sale is Friday, December 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, December 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Browse  organized books, CDs, DVDs and puzzles. All holiday books are buy one, get one free. Most items are priced between 25 cents and $3. There will also be a collection of rare and collectible books. Rutland Free Library is located at 10 Court Street in Rutland.
