Fort Salem Theater begins its ‘Fall at the Fort’ cabaret series by hosting CBS6 news anchor, Jerry Gretzinger, in a new show. Gretzinger will be joined by his father, Jerry Gretzinger, and his son, Jerry Gretzinger, and by Saratoga Springs singer Brendan Dailey, who portrayed the news anchor in last summer’s ‘No Boundaries,’ which featured Gretzinger’s fellow singing anchors, Jessica Layton and Benita Zahn. The new revue, titled, ‘Jerry Gretzinger: Jerry Times Four,’ takes place on Saturday, November 2, at 8.

An award-winning television journalist who has worked in the Albany area for the past eleven years, he has been a regular performer in Salem since joining Layton and Zahn for a cabaret in 2009. Gretzinger comes from a family steeped in the theatrical tradition. “My parents met doing ‘Cinderella’ at Marist College. Mom played the title role. My attraction to theater appears to be genetic,” Gretzinger stated.
