‘Six Degrees’ in Weston
The Sundays on the Hill Concert Series will host Vermont vocal ensemble, Counterpoint at 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, as they present ‘Six Degrees’ in Weston’s historic Church on the Hill on Lawrence Hill Road. Parking is available at the church and along the road and village green. ‘Six Degrees’ brings a crucial environmental message on how climate change threatens our survival and how green alternatives, renewables and sustainability can address these dangers. The concert also features Prayer for Mother Earth, an original composition by Counterpoint baritone Kevin Quigley, set to the text by the Penobscot Abenaki elder Frank ‘Big Thunder’ Loring. Admission is $5 for adults; children 12 and under are free. Visit sundaysonthehill.org to learn more.
