Speak Out on Mental Health Issues
The Vermont Center for Independent Living and Disability Rights Vermont will be sponsoring a Speak Out on mental health issues in Bennington County on Wednesday, May 25, from 1 to 3 p.m., at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Bennington, 108 School Street. PAIMI (Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness), part of Disability Rights Vermont, will be in town to hear your concerns, struggles, wishes and aspirations concerning mental health. Your input will make lawmakers aware of the issues and to help find legislative solutions and to direct legislative activities. Events are free. These are chemical- and scent-free events. For information, to register and/or to request accommodations, call Lynn at 802-442-1876 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
