Students: Learn About Microscopes at the Cambridge Library
Science with Mr. Romack returns to the Cambridge Library on Saturday, February 6,from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Howard Romack, science teacher emeritus at Cambridge Central School, will be presenting a course on microscopes for students in grades five and up. Space is limited to ten students, so sign up early for this incredible opportunity. Students are encouraged to sign up early for more events this spring. On Saturday, April 2, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Mr. Romack will present a program on anatomy for grades six and up. Using the lung, heart and eye from a cow, students will be able to have an opportunity to delve into bovine anatomy. Microscopes will be used. Saturday, April 30, (with a rain date of May 7th) from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Mr. Romack will lead a walk into Lake Lauderdale to discuss the flora and fauna of one of Washington County’s beloved outdoor spaces. Bring a bag lunch, wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to explore!
