Susan B. Anthony Museum Auction
The Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum is soliciting items for its live and silent auction at the Williams Inn in Williamstown, Mass., on Sunday, October 13, 2 to 5, with auctioneer Paul Hutchinson and live music by brother-sister duo, June and the Bee.
Adams residents Rissa Sawyer, Martha Green and other members from the Birthplace Museum board are contacting individuals and area businesses for donations. Donors will be listed in the auction program booklet; proceeds will benefit the Birthplace Museum’s educational and community programs. The volunteers are also selling ads for the program book.
Items donated to date include hand-blown glass from Cheshire Glassworks, bottles of wine from O’Geary’s Package Store, a wooden toy truck from Delmolino & Sons, a walking tour of Seneca Falls and lunch, a Notre Dame football with Rudy Ruettiger’s autograph, and a week in Cape May, N.J.
For information, to donate items or to volunteer, contact museum Executive Director Colleen Janz at 413-743-7121, firstname.lastname@example.org or Martha Green at 413-842-6191.
