This year’s fall show at Southern Vermont Arts Center (SVAC) is titled ‘Chromatic,’ an apt description of this stunning  display of works created by member artists, who have interpreted the theme in a myriad of ways. Although the art ranges from abstract to landscape painting, photography to sculpture, all have something in common – they are vibrant displays and celebrations of the use of color.

Also on view for the first time this year are highlights from SVAC’s permanent collection, including works by founding member artists Connaway, Crane, Fahrenstock, Day, Jackson, Humphreys, Shockler and Meyer.

The exhibition is on view in the Yester House Galleries, and runs through Sunday, November 6. Admission is free. During your visit, stroll across the front lawn to the Wilson Museum, where the distinct artworks of two artists, David Brewster and Kathryn Wiegers, are on view until Sunday, October 2.

SVAC is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 12 to 5 p.m. It is located at 930 SVAC Drive off West Road in Manchester. For details, call SVAC at 802-362-1405 or visit svac.org.
