The Fall Art Workshop Series at Southern Vermont Arts Center’s wraps up with two, two-day workshops in HDR Digital Photography and Still Life Pastel Painting, taught by two recognized leaders in their field.
‘HDR Digital Photography’ is planned for Saturday and Sunday, October 11 and 12. Taught by Alan Nyiri, who studied with Ansel Adams, Philip Hyde and Eliot Porter, the ‘Big Three’ of 20th-century landscape photography, the course will include an overview of the use of the software and technology used to create HDR images.
On Saturday and Sunday, November 15 and 16, join pastel master Robert Carsten when he presents ‘Creating Exciting Still Life Paintings.’ Composition, image correlation, practical color theory and attention to achieving gorgeous textural surfaces will be featured in this, the final workshop of the season.
