Wendy Conway, M.D. has joined Southwestern Vermont Medical Center’s Obstetrics and Gynecology department and the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Putnam Physicians group. She currently serves as a Major in the United States Air Force and staff OB/Gyn physician at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Landstuhl’s obstetrics and gynecology department is the largest military overseas OB/Gyn department in the world.
Conway served as a head physician for humanitarian trips to Ecuador for the University of Vermont (UVM). Her work was recognized when her class selected her as one of only seven recipients (out of 234 residents) to receive the prestigious Gold Foundation Humanism in Medicine Award.
Conway began her military career in 2004 when she was commissioned as an OB/Gyn resident at the University of Vermont (UVM) through the Financial Assistance Program. She then served as Chief Resident of the program. After completing her OB/Gyn residency at University of Vermont/Fletcher Allen Health Care, in Burlington, Vt. she attended Commission Officer Training. There she was a Distinguished Graduate and received the top female athletic award.
