GMALL will host the founder and chairman of the Jefferson Legacy Foundation for a talk on Thomas Jefferson.

Green Mountain Academy will present a talk about Thomas Jefferson’s legacy with Sydney Stokes, Jr., the founder and chairman of the Jefferson Legacy Foundation. The talk will take place on Thursday, September 29, at 5:30 p.m. in Burr and Burton Academy’s Hunter Seminar Room. Thomas Jefferson left a lasting and lengthy legacy which includes models for civic responsibility, active participation in society, revitalization of democracy, lifelong learning, service to others and the pursuit of happiness. This talk will explore Jefferson’s living legacy and will also cover his famous trip to Vermont with James Madison during the summer of 1791. Registration is $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
