Talk to Explore Car Racing
Vermonters have been racing cars for over a century, on mountainsides and drag strips, fairgrounds and dedicated tracks. On Wednesday, July 10, at 7 p.m., Amanda Gustin, public program manager at the Vermont Historical Society, will explore the history of racing in the Green Mountains. It’s a story full of colorful personalities, innovative design and tight-knit communities that takes place in every corner of the state. This free program, open to the public, is co-sponsored by the Vermont Historical Society and is part of the Library’s Summer Wednesdays Series. For information, call the Library at 802-362-2607.
