The best restaurants, professional chefs and amateur cooks of southern Vermont come together in culinary camaraderie for the third annual Taste of Vermont on Stratton on February 1, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Stratton Resort Base Lodge to benefit the Stratton Foundation.

Premier $100 Tickets are available, featuring early access to the event, cocktails and a chance to meet food stylist and author, Tracey Medeiros, when she showcases her recipe of Sautéed Sea Scallops in a Smoked Bacon and Maple Cream Sauce. Premier ticket holders will also receive a signed copy of The Vermont Farm Table Cookbook or Dishing Up Vermont, thanks to Misty Valley Books in Chester, Vt.

Adult tickets are $50 and children under 13 are $20. Admission includes all non-alcoholic beverages, courtesy of the Stratton Mountain Resort. Wine and beer will be available. Enjoy southern Vermont’s culinary jewels, representing 18 towns, under one roof, including the Reluctant Panther in Manchester, Crazy Russian Girls Bakery in Bennington, Downtown Grocery in Ludlow, Windham Hill Inn of Townshend, Baba Louis in Chester, Whetstone Station in Brattleboro, and the chefs of the Stratton Mountain resort just to name a few. Space is still available to participate, but tickets will be limited and early purchase is recommended online at strattonfoundation.org.

The Stratton Foundation is proud to support the youth in need, families who experience an incident of crisis, and organizations that provide services of necessity such as heat, food and housing. For more information, call 802-297-2096.
