The Clark to Hold Volunteer Fair
Volunteering is an excellent way to become involved in local communities and learn new skills. At the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute, volunteers are a key component in visitor services, especially in one of the biggest years in the Clark’s history as it plans to open its newly expanded and renovated campus on July 4.
On Wednesday, March 5, from 10 a.m. to noon, the Clark hosts a Volunteer Fair at Stone Hill Center on its Williamstown campus. Anyone interested in volunteering can drop in to learn about becoming a visitor services volunteer and meet with staff and current volunteers. The Clark’s volunteers are front-line ambassadors welcoming visitors to explore the Institute’s world-renowned collection, exceptional special exhibitions, and public programs for visitors of all ages. Volunteers must be willing to commit to required minimum hours; candidates who can commit to a year-round schedule will be given preference.
