The 24th annual Komen Vermont Race for the Cure is Saturday, July 23. There’s still time to join the local fight against breast cancer by registering for the 5K walk or the 5K or 10K run. Be sure to bring the kids with you on race day to Manchester’s Riley Rink at Hunter Park so they can participate in an obstacle course, with all finishers winning a full-day Mountain Adventure Pass to Bromley. There will also be all sorts of fun activities, a fantastic silent auction and lots of sponsor exhibits to peruse.

Online registration is open at komenvtnh.org until 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 21. You may also register in person at Riley Rink from noon to 6 p.m. on Friday, July 22, as well as on race day, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. And if you can’t make it to the Race but would like to make a difference, register online as a Virtual Runner. You can get more information at komenvtnh.org, or call 802-362-2733.
