Tilting at Windmills to Host Talk with Author John Dobbyn
Tilting at Windmills Gallery will host acclaimed author John Dobbyn for an entertaining talk about his newest mystery novel, ‘Fatal Odds,’ at 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 20. Gallery owner Terry Lindsey says, “I have had the good fortune to share the growth of Jack’s writing career over the past 15 years, as he spoke about each of his published mysteries at my previous gallery in Saratoga before we acquired Tilting at Windmills. I guarantee you will enjoy his presentation plus learn a great deal. This will be his first touring lecture about the just-released ‘Fatal Odds,’ which is about horse racing and the illicit international trade in endangered species of wild animals.”
A United States Air Force Veteran, Dobbyn is also a Professor of Law. He published 25 short stories in Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine and Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine while teaching law at Villanova Law School. His first novel, ‘Neon Dragon,’ is currently being produced as a movie. Tilting at Windmills Gallery is located at 24 Highland Avenue in Manchester. Call 802-362-3022 or visit tilting.com.
