Town of Manchester to Hold Public Meeting on Lye Brook Study

The Town of Manchester will hold a public meeting on Thursday, May 2, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Manchester Town Hall to discuss the findings of a study on Lye Brook commissioned by the Bennington County Regional Commission. The study, which was completed by Northstar Hydro, reviewed the hydrologic impacts of several alternatives currently being considered to address potential flooding from Lye Brook from Route 7 to Richville Road in Manchester. The project was funded by the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources through the Ecosystem Restoration Program. The purpose of the meeting is to present the findings to the public and answer questions on the study. For more information, contact John O’Keefe at 802-362-1313 extension 2.
