The Vermont Arts Exchange (VAE) is excited to welcome back a fan favorite, Howard Fishman, performing the Basement Tapes Project at VAE’s Basement Music Series. Please join us on Saturday, November 8. The doors open at 7 for the 8 p.m. show.

Fishman’s acclaimed Basement Tapes Project explores the mysterious underground recordings made by Bob Dylan and The Band in 1967.

Fishman began his musical career on the streets of New Orleans and in the subways of Brooklyn New York in the late 90s. Since then, he has headlined in some of the most prestigious venues in the US and abroad, with such diverse artists as Odetta, Yo Yo Ma, Maceo Parker, Califone, Robyn Hitchcock, Madeleine Peyroux, Allen Holdsworth and Nellie McKay. He is a frequent NPR guest.

Tickets  are $20, or $10 for students with valid ID, at
brownpapertickets.com or by calling 800-838-3006. Tickets are $24 at the door on the day of show on a first-come, first-served basis. Libations will be available.
