Arlington Turkey Dinner
The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 69 are hosting a Turkey Dinner at 6 p.m. on Friday, November 11, at Post 69, 54 Legion Road, Arlington. Tickets are $10 per person; children under 12 are $7. For information, call 802-375-6157.

Danby Breakfast and Bazaar
Currier Memorial School, 234 North Main Street, Danby, is hosting a Breakfast and Bazaar on Saturday, November 12. Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m The cost is $7 for ages 13 and up and $3 for ages six to 12; age five and under are free. Pawlet Game Dinner
The Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department’s 48th annual Wild Game and Chicken and Biscuit Supper is their biggest fundraiser. It will be held on Saturday, November 12, at the Firehouse on Route 133, starting at 5 p.m. The menu includes bear and venison roasts, venison stew, moose meatballs, venison sausage, salads and homemade pie for dessert. Wells Tea Cup Auction
The Ladies Aid Society of the Wells United Methodist Church will be holding a huge Tea Cup Auction on Friday, November 11, at the Modern Woodman, Route 30, in Wells. Doors will open at 5:30 and the drawing will start at 6:45 p.m. There will be lots and lots of goodies to bid on plus homemade foods. Envelopes of 10 tickets are $1; place your tickets in cups next to your choices. The winning ticket is drawn from all the tickets in each cup. Free refreshments will be served; there will be door prizes. This event is presented by the Wells United Methodist Church Ladies Aid in support of church benevolences. W. Rutland Breakfast Buffet
The members of Hiram Lodge 101 and Gilman Chapter 88 will be providing a Pancake Breakfast to raise funds for their charitable projects at the Masonic Lodge, 63 Franklin Street, West Rutland, on Saturday, November 12, from 8 to 11 a.m. The cost is $9 for those over age 12 and $3 for ages six to 12. Windham Supper & Square Dance
Windham’s annual Harvest Supper and Square Dance begins at 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, at the Windham Meeting House, 26 Harrington Road. The dinner is hosted and prepared by the Windham Community Organization, who will be serving ham, butternut squash, baked beans, scalloped potatoes (plus a gluten-free version), salad, breads and homemade pie, for $10/adults, $5/children or $25/family. Sally Newton will be calling the moves for a lively square dance, accompanied by talented local musicians. Proceeds benefit Windham area residents.
