Manchester Disc Golf
The Hunter Park Disc Golf Club has a free Tuesday night league at 6 p.m. that is open to anyone. Discs can be purchased at the Mountain Goat in Manchester. Disc golf is played just like regular golf, except you throw discs at baskets. Equipment at the nine-hole course at Hunter Park in Manchester was installed thanks to the sponsorship of local buisnesses, and members of the club volunteer their time to develop and maintain the course. There are plans to expand to 18 holes by 2017; a donation box has been installed to help with the cost. To learn more, go to pdga.com or call Frank Johnson at 239-898-4006.
