Vermont History Expo

Vermont History Expo

Art lovers and history buffs are invited to head north to Tunbridge, Vermont on Saturday and Sunday, June 21 and 22, for the Vermont History Expo. The theme this year is ‘Artists and Artisans: Vermont’s Creative Heritage.’ Historical societies and organizations from towns all over the state will be there. Three local organizations, the Southern Vermont Arts Center, the Dorset Historical Society and the Manchester Historical Society, will present a joint display. The Manchester-Dorset area has long been a haven for artists, and works will be displayed that reflect the scenes that drew artists to come and remain here. The Expo runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Visit vermonthistory.org/expo for more information. Admission is $10 each, with a reduced price for ages under 18; children under 5 are free. Those who come in period costume will only pay half price. Refreshments will be available.
