Violinist, Visiting Artist at Williams
The Williams College Department of Music presents violinist Stephanie Chase on Sunday, October 20, at 3, in the Brooks-Rogers Recital Hall on the college campus. The event is free and open to the public.
Chase will present a program titled, ‘The Art of the Solo Violin: Music composed between 1720 and 1956.’ Chase has performed solo with over 170 orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, London Symphony Orchestra and others.
Chase plays a violin noted for its power and beautiful tonal qualities, made in 1742 by Petrus Guarnerius. For additional information, visit her website at stephaniechase.com.
