West Pawlet’s Fall Festival and Flea Market
A Fall Festival and Flea Market will be held on Saturday, October 18, in West Pawlet, Vt. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. The event will be held at the fire station on Route 153, Main Street. There will be a variety of flea market items from local and visiting vendors. Vendor spaces are still available for rent on a first come, first serve basis for $10 each. Auxiliary member Ellie Park said that a lot will be going on throughout the day at the fire station. She said that there will be a food sale, a luncheon, a 50/50 raffle, apple bobbing and, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., a pumpkin painting contest. Enter the pie baking contest with your pumpkin or apple pie. The entry fee is $5. Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place winners. Entries need to be delivered no later than 10:45 a.m. The luncheon begins at 11:30, and includes hamburgers, hot dogs and beverages.
