Williamstown Book Sale
The Friends of Milne Public Library will hold its annual Book Sale Friday and Saturday, April 25 and 26, at the Williamstown Elementary School gymnasium, 115 Church Street, Williamstown, Mass. Expanded hours this year are Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, and Saturday, 9 am to 4 pm. The sale includes diverse offerings in history, art, music, cinema, new fiction and biography. Over 40 categories are overflowing with books, priced from 50 cents to $10, many of which are in excellent condition, oversized and gift quality. Customers can also bid on a wide array of special Silent Auction volumes until 3 p.m. on Saturday, when bidding closes. Bidders do not have to be present when the winning bids are announced; out-of-area successful bidders can have their books shipped. Both days, the Friends Café and Bake Sale will offer coffee, lunch and home baked goods for hungry shoppers.
Leading up to and at the sale, the Friends are conducting a raffle of an iPad Mini. Tickets are available now at the library and at Williamstown Savings Bank. The winning ticket will be drawn Saturday afternoon at the sale, with the proceeds benefitting the library. There are many ways to help with the event. Volunteer workers or bakers can sign up at the Library, by emailing [email protected] or by calling 413-458-4639.
