The Winhall Community Library

The Winhall Community Arts Center and the Winhall Memorial Library are teaming up for a holiday double film feature on Saturday, December 9, at 5:30 p.m. at the Library. The first film will feature an elf who embarks on an adventure to New York City. Enjoy some pizza and stay for our second film about a Kranky couple who want a break from the holidays. RSVP at 802-297- 9741 or winhallcommunityartscenter@gmail.com, so they know how many pizzas to purchase.

The Library is raising funds by offering adorable holiday ornaments with a $5 donation. Proceeds will go towards the children’s non-fiction collection at the Library. Join the Library on the second Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. to eat and share recipes, tips and tricks at the Cookbook Club, next meeting on December 14. December’s theme is appetizers and mocktails. All are welcome.

Local resident Helen Vail will be turning 95 on December 10! Her family has asked for help in wishing her a very happy birthday. Cards can either be dropped off or mailed to the Winhall Memorial Library by December 8, to be delivered to Helen on her birthday. An interesting side note: Helen attended school in the building that is now the Library! Stop by to see the photo of Helen and her classmates from 1935. Winhall Memorial Library is located at 2 Lower Taylor Hill Road in Bondville. For further details, call 802-297- 9741 or visit winhallmemoriallibrary.org
