The Green Mountain Gardeners (GMG) annual wreath sale at the Flood Brook Holiday Bazaar was so popular this year that wreaths sold out almost immediately. Proceeds from the sale provided $500 to the Flood Brook student activities cooperative for field trips, artist-in-resident programs, science enrichment and nature programs. Elsie Smith, co-president of Green Mountain Gardeners, noted, “We are thrilled that our wreaths sold so quickly and we were able to donate funds to such an important educational enrichment program. Our members appreciate the opportunity to decorate and donate wreaths each year for the bazaar sale, in addition to the 13 wreaths that we provide to town buildings.” The donated wreaths have been placed at the Faraar Mansur House Museum and US Post Office in Weston, the Mountain Valley Medical Clinic and Custer Sharp House in Londonderry, the Landgrove Town Hall and the South Londonderry Library.
