A Lunchtime Concert on with Bruce White on Manchester’s Town Green
The Manchester Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to the Manchester Town Green on Tuesday, July 7, for a special free concert with Bruce White and a luncheon to kick off the Concerts on the Green summer series. Bruce White plays acoustic guitar and presents rich vocal interpretations to the classic rock and folk works of Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Tom Waits, John Hyatt, Van Morrison and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. Bring a bag lunch for our special lunchtime concert and great music enjoyed by all generations, from noon to 1:30 p.m.
“We are very pleased to have The Bank of Bennington sponsor this year’s concert series,” said Berta Maginniss, executive director of the Manchester and Mountains Regional Chamber of Commerce. “This luncheon is a fantastic way to get out of the office, enjoy a nice summer afternoon and get excited for a summer filled with music and friends.”

The six weeks of concerts on the green will be begin Tuesday evening, July 14, at 6 p.m., and continue through August 18. Bands include The Battenkillers, Julie Shea Band, Moose Crossing, So Far, John O’Rourke Legato Blues Band and the Don’t Leave Band. Check out visitmanchestervt.com for information.
